Program Completion Requirements

The BSIT program is a 121-122-credit hour program, of which the last two years of coursework must be completed at KU. The BSIT program is designed to allow students to finish their degree at their own pace.  Some students would like to finish the program in four years, while others may need more time.

While the program can be completed in its entirety at KU, it is better designed (for the residents of Johnson County and the KC metropolitan area) to be completed in 2+2 agreement with Johnson County Community College. An example of a four-year degree completion plan through Johnson County Community College (JCCC) is detailed below.
